The Role
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of equipment within an automotive precision engineering environment. You will work within a highly skilled maintenance team, performing planned maintenance, installing new machinery, and handling emergency repairs when required.

Key Responsibilities

* Electrical maintenance and installation across a range of plant systems, including BMS, boilers, AHUs, hot/cold water systems, chillers, and DFUs

* Maintain detailed records in the maintenance system after each activity

* Conduct preventative maintenance in line with production needs

* Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimise downtime

* Ensure that maintenance processes meet OEM standards and continuously improve them

* Collaborate with the team to enhance overall plant efficiency

* Provide guidance and mentorship to Electrical/Mechanical apprentices

Working Hours

* Early Shift: 06:00 – 14:00

* Late Shift: 14:00 – 22:00

What We’re Looking For

* Qualified Electrician holding 18th Edition BS7671:2018 IET Wiring Regulations

* Experience with shop floor equipment such as mills and lathes is advantageous

* Strong background in both preventative and reactive maintenance
