Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Assembly Technician for our client based in Maldon on a permanent basis.

The department which the successful candidate will be working in is responsible for through hole conventional assembly by hand using irons and using the selective soldering machine. The team will also carry out reworks and modifications of both through hole and surface mount assemblies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Component pre-forming

* Through hole soldering using irons

* Component insertion

* Programming Selective Soldering Machines

* Running Selective Soldering Machines

* Minor Mechanical Assembly

* Modification work

* Rework

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:

* Previous experience with modification work

* At least 2 years’ experience with through hole soldering

* Excellent attention to detail

Working hours are 40-hour week Monday to Friday. This is a full-time, on-site position

In return our client offers a competitive salary of up to £32,000.
