Supply Teacher - Northampton

Monarch Education are an Education Recruitment Agency who specialise in placing Teachers and Teaching Assistants in their ideal roles. Monarch Education are currently working alongside Primary Schools in the Northampton area to find a Supply Teacher to start from September.

The candidate for this role will provide a mentoring service that meets the needs of students who require help in overcoming barriers to learning that prevent them from achieving their full potential, both inside and outside school.

The ideal candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following:

Marking the class register at the beginning of each lesson
Disseminate materials prepared by the Head of Department that are necessary for the work to be completed
Explain the work set using PowerPoint, textbook or your own background knowledge
Manage behaviour in the classroom in order to maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning, following the school's standard processes
Work with small groups to support their learning

Hours of work: Part Time Salary: £130 - £150 per day (varied depending on experience and qualifications)

School Location: Northampton Accessibility: Easily accessible on Public Transport / Onsite Parking

Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS and two references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working an Education Setting.
