Provides specialist property solutions tailored to keep homes and buildings running smoothly. Your new role

Carpentry: Carry out a variety of carpentry tasks including door and window installations, flooring, cabinetry, and structural repairs.
Plaster Patching: Repair damaged walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth, professional finish.
Tiling: Install and repair wall and floor tiles in kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas.
Multi-Trade Maintenance: Address a range of repair and maintenance issues within social housing properties, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
Tenant Interaction: Communicate effectively with tenants to schedule work, address their concerns, and ensure minimal disruption during repairs.
Health & Safety: Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe work environment for both yourself and the tenants.
Quality Control: Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with Birmingham City Council’s guidelines and regulations. What you'll need to succeed  

Able to communicate effectively to colleagues, client representatives and key stakeholders
To behave in a professional manner always
Ability to respond quickly and effectively to client requirements
To have a good understanding of key personnel of the client staff
To have a good knowledge of safe systems of work
To have basic IT skills, (Web Quote, E Mail, CAFM, PDA etc).
 A minimum of City and Guilds (or NVQ) at Level 2, within Carpentry
