Key Responsibilities as a Senior Buyer:

Strategic Sourcing: Drive effective sourcing strategies to optimise costs and ensure timely delivery.
Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and innovation.
Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability.
Supply Chain Optimisation: Streamline supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of commercial terms.Ideal Senior Buyer Profile:

Proven experience as a Category Buyer, Senior Buyer, or Project Buyer within a manufacturing environment.
Strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.
In-depth understanding of commercial terms and contracts.
Knowledge of Manufacturing principles.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
