Manufacturing Maintenance Manager - £500-£550/day - Outside IR35

Shorterm Group is is partnered exclusively with an aerospace manufacturing business based near Blackburn to recruit a new Maintenance Manager to build a maintenance team and implement a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule for CNC machinery. This role ensures equipment efficiency, minimises downtime, and upholds safety standards.

The maintenance manager here should have experience of building from the ground up - building and implementing a maintenance strategy in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

Our successful maintenance manager will:
- Establish and manage a PPM schedule.
- Oversee reactive and planned maintenance.
- Manage budgets and spare parts inventory.
- Have a background ideally in maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines
- Have demonstrable experience of creating and implementing strategy as well as hiring/managing a team
