Electro-mechanical fitter

Our client, a major train operating company, is looking to recruit a team of rolling stock engineers for a 18 month project performing testing and general maintenance work on the Electrostar fleet. Successful applicants will undertake a 1 week (approx.) M2 training course covering 35 maintenance tasks on the Electrostars.

The role is days only and has a 50 hour working week as standard.

Successful applicants will:

Have a relevant NVQ or equivalent qualification.
Experience of both electrical and mechanical rolling stock maintenance
Using laptops to test / force operation / diagnose etc.
Extra advantage to those who:

Possess Fork Lift CB &  Jib (engine hoist / floor mounted jib crane) license
Paint Spraying experience.
Job is Mon to Friday 06:00 to 16:00  or  07:00 to 17:00  -  50 hours per week

Pay Rate is £27.34p/h Paye + holiday pay or  £35.27 Umbrella
