Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Repairs Supervisor to oversee reactive and planned maintenance within the social housing sector. This role involves leading a team of operatives and subcontractors to ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard-while delivering outstanding customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage responsive and voids maintenance in both tenanted and vacant properties.
Lead a team of operatives, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
Conduct property inspections, ensuring repairs are completed effectively and in line with health & safety regulations.
Collaborate with housing officers, contractors, and tenants to resolve repair issues promptly.
Monitor and maintain KPIs and SLAs, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.
Plan and allocate workloads, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Ensure strict compliance with housing regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and provide updates to senior management.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor within social housing.
Strong understanding of housing maintenance, voids, and repairs.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Solid knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance.
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders.
