I am looking for an experienced Extra Care Service Manager for a service in Camden, running a complex of individual flats and bringing together the high level care services offered in residential care with the accommodation and independence of living in your own home. The care facility comprises of 35 self-contained extra care apartments with own kitchen, lounge, bedroom & wet room, for rent to people over 55 years old.
Service users enjoy a staffed cafe, communal lounges and a hairdressing salon all supported by an on-site concierge and community care teams.
For this Extra Care Scheme Manager Role:
* You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Service
* Utilising authentic leadership, role modelling and inspirational skills to motivate the team to deliver excellent quality of care
* Managing the effective use of resources, including the financial performance of the Service, and maintaining high levels of occupancy
* Providing improvement, independence and choice for Service Users.
* Complying with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times
* Promote the Equality and Diversity of Service Users living and staff working in the environment
Essentials Skills for the Service Manager Role:
* Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or be working towards this
* Experience as a Registered Manager in an Extra Care Scheme or Supported Living Manager essential
* Experience of successfully managing a staff team
* Knowledge of CQC requirements
* Held registration as a CQC manager
