Role Overview:
As a Trainee IT Support worker, you will be the first point of contact for technical assistance within the company, providing support to users, troubleshooting issues, and helping to maintain our IT systems. You’ll work closely with our experienced IT team, learning the essential skills needed to build a successful career in IT support.

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to IT support requests from employees, both remotely and in person.

* Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

* Set up new user accounts, devices, and applications.

* Help maintain IT equipment, including laptops, printers, and other office devices.

* Learn and apply IT support processes and best practices.

* Document issues, solutions, and changes accurately in our helpdesk system.

* Support the IT team with ongoing projects and technical improvements.

Skills & Attributes:

* No prior IT experience required, but a strong interest in technology is essential.

* Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

* Problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

* Ability to work in a team and independently when needed.

* Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is beneficial.

* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
