Site Mechanical Fitter**
Location: Wrexham
3 Month Contract
Start Date: December
£25-26 p/h CIS or Ltd Co
60 hours per week (Mon-Sat, 10-hour days - 8am-6pm)
Site installation/Engineering/Process plant
Business Overview:
Our client is a leading UK engineering projects and installations company, overseeing significant EPC projects for major blue-chip FMCG manufacturers across the UK. They are hiring several Site Mechanical Fitters for an initial 3-month contract, with a strong potential for extension.
The Role of Site Mechanical Fitter includes:
Precision alignment, bearing replacements, and gearbox overhauls
Adhering to site safety protocols and quality standards
Working with stainless steel and other process materials common in the food and beverage industry
Rip out of existing conveyors and machinery which will consist of a lot of cutting and grinding
The successful Site Mechanical Fitter will need the following attributes:
Time-served Mechanical Fitter
Experience in the food/beverage or pharmaceutical processing industries
JIB card, Site safety card
Proven track record in mechanical site installations
Proactive, self-motivated, organized, and a strong team player
