Based in our Rutland office, reporting to the Design and Development Manager and working alongside the design and development coordinator, you will take charge of all aspects of our packaging. The role involves directly liaising with both internal teams, account managers, factories, and customers to ensure the timely delivery of correct to guideline packaging and labelling and ultimately therefore, the timely delivery of the product itself. This will include product photography for both packaging artwork and record keeping but also the varied, ad hoc requests received from customers, factories and internal teams alike.

Key Responsibilities:

* Obtain/maintain a full understanding of customer packaging guidelines

* Request and check cutter guides from factories

* Create print ready artwork of all packaging needs

* Manage packaging approval processes with customers

* Issue packaging artwork to factories

* Issue thorough specs to factories

* Approve production packaging with factories, check step by step packaging

* Chase in and check gold seals

* Support the team with ad hoc tasks and requests if/when required

* Photograph lighting products using Canon EOS R in a photography studio

* Manage the photography process for Dunelm, using a third party

* Administrative duties as part of development process. These include, but are not limited to, unpacking and packing boxes, deliveries to customers from time to time, assisting in setting up the showroom, keeping product wall up to date, creating mock up boxes, inputting technical data on to new lines sheets.

The Ideal Candidate:

* A positive team player with an astute eye for detail and excellent communication skills

* Good project management and organisational skills essential

* Proficient in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop

* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 essential

* Photography experience (preferably studio) is strongly desired but not essential

* Full, clean driving licence.

This role is required full time on site. While the successful candidate will ideally have the above experience/skills, we will consider candidates that we feel fit our culture, with a desire to learn. Appropriate support will be given to help you succeed in the role. Although not a predominantly customer facing role, some working out of hours and UK travel may be required when attending shows or customer meetings
