We are currently recruiting for a role in Saltash, to work as a Security Officer at a well known business in the area!

The role is to be lone working, so if you do not mind working on your own and enjoy your own company, then this would be the job for you! You will be conducting patrols, monitoring suspicious activity and liaising with the relevant authorities when required.

The rate of pay is £11.44 per hour.

This is a full-time role and the shift pattern is 8 on, 6 off. A mix of 12 hours and 8 hours shifts, 42 hours per week average over the month, 7 nights 1 day.

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer at G4S, you are more than a Security Guard. You'll ensure the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment. Other duties include:

- Patrols of the site, mainly external
- Checks for security breaches
- Escalation of security breaches to management or the customer
- Liaising with authorities if required
- Report writing of any incidents on site
- Maintaining customer standards at all times

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker is a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.

It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA licence, however, it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training.
