Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm; Friday, 7:00 am – 12:00 pm
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role

As a Trainee Brazer, you’ll work closely with our skilled brazing team, gaining hands-on experience and training in brazing techniques. This role is perfect for someone with prior experience in metal fabrication who is eager to build expertise in metal joining. You’ll work with high-quality materials, producing components for a range of industries while following safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with brazing operations under the guidance of experienced brazers

* Prepare materials and surfaces for brazing, including cleaning and assembly

* Use and maintain brazing tools and equipment

* Work from technical drawings and instructions to meet job specifications

* Ensure high-quality standards and attention to detail

* Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:

* Experience in metal fabrication is essential; familiarity with metal joining techniques is preferred

* A keen interest in developing brazing skills and techniques

* Ability to interpret technical drawings

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

* Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team
