Graduate Structural Engineer

Location: Sway, near Lymington, Hampshire

Start Date: ASAPWe are seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our civil and structural engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of structural projects, from conception through to completion, in both domestic and commercial sectors. The successful candidate will be part of a small, dedicated team, working in a relaxed office setting within a company that values diversity and promotes an inclusive culture.

Day to Day of the Role:

Involvement in projects of varying scale from conception through to completion.
Assessing and understanding project requirements.
Undertaking design across a number of disciplines.
Agreeing timescales and specifications with clients and managers.
Preparation of documents and reports.
Working towards Chartered status and maintaining CPD training.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

A Master's degree in civil/structural engineering.
Clear and efficient verbal and written communication skills.
Confident personality with the ability to liaise with clients and contractors.
Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Masterseries, TEDDS, etc.
Competence in Microsoft Office to produce project-related documents.
Commitment to professional excellence and personal development.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Flexible approach to work, with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Ability to produce plans, write reports to support planning applications, design calculations, and construction drawings.
Capability to interact with fellow professionals on multidisciplinary projects and cooperate accordingly.
