Project Engineer - Manufacturing Engineering

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer within Manufacturing Engineering (ME) at a leading aerospace company. This role is based in Broughton and offers the chance to work in a dynamic production environment, driving improvements and innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct process mapping and requirement definition to support business needs.
Oversee analysis, design, development, and integration of solutions.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement improvements.
Manage project financials, including cost-benefit analysis and budgeting.
Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
Produce and maintain all necessary project documentation.

Key Skills & Experience:

Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate effectively.
Knowledge of project management principles (accreditation is an advantage).
Familiarity with FMEA, SWOT analysis, 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis, and Flowcharts is desirable.
