Regional Administration Officer
Location: Hybrid. Travel across the South East and Greater London region. Office days in your closest prison site.
Salary: £31,438.51 per annum
Contract: Permanent - Full time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a confident and experienced Regional Administration Officer to support the Greater London and South East region, working across 20 prison sites to provide critical administrative support.

Prisons run like self-contained cities; it takes hundreds of people to keep them functioning. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, your role will help ensure the smooth and safe operation of these essential services, impacting every prisoner, employee, visitor, and the wider community.
Your work will support site-based teams of experienced and passionate colleagues, including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and others, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference. Your direct peers will be Site Managers and site-based Administration Officers, and you will report to the Regional Account Director.

We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Regional Administration Officer with:
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
- Experience in providing administrative support across multiple sites or teams.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including CAFM, Oracle, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to generate and analyse reports to support operational efficiency.
- Skilled in coordinating planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks and managing related documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including managing business correspondence and taking meeting minutes.
- Experience in handling staff records, such as annual leave, sickness, timesheets, and expenses.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and professional approach to problem-solving and operational needs.
- Familiarity with processing requisitions, purchase orders, and compliance documentation.
