Automation Technician - Essex - £50k

Platform Recruitment have partnered with a specialist engineering company based in Essex. They are looking to take on an automation technician with a strong understanding of electrical drawings and control panel design.
Key responsibilities:
+ Fault finding electrical control systems
+ Configuring servo motors and inverter drives
+ Designing PLC based electrical control systems from design specifications.

Key skills:
+ Programming PLCs
+ Familiar with SCADA systems and vision systems
+ An electrical qualification is preferred.

A UK drivers’ licence is required for this role.

The salary will be up to £50k depending on previous experience with great company benefits.
