Our client is a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of high quality and long-term building envelope solutions. Offering a wide range of product and waterproofing systems, they pride themselves on providing outstanding customer service alongside their high-end products.
This opportunity will involve working closely with the Technical and Sales team, the role will oversee site installation monitoring, across all the clients systems and projects, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standard of workmanship, throughout the denoted region.
Key responsibilities:
* Responsible for carrying out site inspections for multiple ongoing projects within the designated area.
* To complete and distribute inspection reports following site inspections and quickly communicating any issues that require immediate attention.
* Acting as an intermediary to assist the project team and contractor in resolving issues on site.
* Where required, to attend pre-start meetings and communicating with all relevant parties to ensure that our guarantee sign-off requirements are understood and help avoid issues that could affect the smooth running of the installation. This is particularly relevant on complex or high value projects.
* Communicating with relevant parties and personnel to ensure issues are shared and dealt with effectively and efficiently.
* To deliver contractor training company HQ.
Requirements:
* In depth knowledge and practical hands-on experience in the installation of Liquid Coating and Bituminous flat roofing systems is essential, knowledge of roofing / waterproofing technologies an advantage.
* A good understanding of flat roof construction from both a technical and commercial aspect.
* Health and Safety awareness and relevant certifications (CSCS card etc.).
* Competency in the use of Microsoft software e.g. Windows, Outlook, Excel etc. Familiarity with a tablet and smart phone.
* Sound organisational and administrative skills.
* Sound communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experienced in conducting surveys & technical reports.
