Job Title: Senior Cost Manager

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

Location: Manchester

About the Role:

We're looking for someone to join our client who is an internationally renowned multi-disciplinary consultancy who are looking to expand their natural resources team in the North West.

We are looking for someone to join as a Senior Cost Manager with infrastructure, nuclear or oil and gas experience.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Cost Manager:

Assessing financial viability of projects during initial phases
Developing, overseeing and maintaining project budgets, cost plans and financial reports
Delivering precise and timely financial guidance to project teams and clients.
Mentoring and guiding junior quantity surveyors and colleagues to foster professional growth.
Cultivating strong collaborative relationships with clients and key stakeholders.Role Requirements for the Senior Cost Manager:

Industry experience in Infrastructure, Nuclear, or Oil & Gas sectors.
NEC contract experience is advantageous but not essential.
Willingness to travel to Derby 3 days per week for the first 6 weeks, then once per month thereafter.
Chartered status (e.g., RICS, APM) - already obtained.
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.What's on offer for the Senior Cost Manager?

Competitive starting salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000, depending on experience.
