Exciting opportunity for a Assistant Radiological Protection Engineer in Whitehaven, Cumbria with out client in the nuclear industry,

The RP Support team (TO153 Waste and RP Support) implement RP improvements throughout FGMSP.

The main focus of the RP Support Team is to improve radiological safety, as well as providing RP support to TDA projects to ensure compliance and to ensure that doses received are as low as reasonably practicable.

The successful candidate will support RP Engineers to deliver improvements on plant, as well as provide radiological protection advice to project to ensure safety and compliance.

This role requires candidates to have good standard of written English with the ability to write clear technical reports.

Awareness of operational RP and industry best practice in Nuclear Decommissioning.

Reasonable level of commercial awareness and the ability to work within budget and program
