As the Media Tech Engineer, you will play an essential role in transforming and supporting the media technology infrastructure that supports an award-winning content supply chain and creative post-production environment across EMEA.
This role offers the unique opportunity to design and implement scalable, forward-thinking media technology solutions while leading a team of talented engineers.
In this hands-on role, you will oversee the seamless integration of third-party solutions, working closely with external vendors to negotiate contracts, drive performance, and ensure alignment with project goals. Leveraging your expertise in cloud technologies and Python, you will drive innovation, implement robust support structures, and deliver exceptional results to elevate our media operations.
Technical Expertise: AWS Cloud certification, SDVI Rally, advanced Python and Python coding and knowledge of broadcast or content supply IT systems and cloud security
Development & Testing: Design Python-based media applications, deploy cloud monitoring tools, and create automated testing processes
Documentation & Communication: Write detailed technical documentation and communicate clearly across all business levels
Project & Vendor Management: Lead SDVI Rally support, manage vendor relationships, and prioritise team projects
Continuous Improvement: Conduct root cause analysis, implement improvement plans, and drive process enhancements
Leadership: Promoted a proactive, solution-focused approach to both senior and junior colleagues
