I’m currently recruiting for a site engineer to work for a reputable civil engineering contractor on a permanent basis. Our client are looking to bring in a Site Engineer to join the site team working on various town centre projects across the South West.

The Candidate:

* Civil Engineering Degree (preferable), 3 years minimum experience in a similar role.

* Experience in a site based Engineering role delivered highways or civils works

* HNC/HND in civil engineering or equivalent.

* SMSTS

* CSCS Black

* Site Engineer background

* Setting Out

* Quality checks

* Surveys

* GPS

* Sub contractor management

Roles & responsibilities:

* The role will be responsible for site civils works including surfacing, paving, curbs, drainage and junction improvement.

* Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.

* Conduct site surveys, setting out, and levelling.

* Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.

* Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.

* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and quality standards.

* Prepare and maintain accurate site documentation and records.

* Assist in the preparation of project plans and schedules.

The Package:

* £35k-£43k + car/car allowance

* 40 hours a week Mon – Fri

* Overtime available
