Groundwork Junior Quantity Surveyor

My client is now looking to hire an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the Senior Quantity Surveyors within their Groundwork / Civil sector

The role will be working on both residential and commercial Groundwork projects across the South of the UK.

Salary - £30,000 - £50,000

Duties

· Provide general assistance to Senior Quantity Surveyors

· Assist with preparing plans, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation

· On-site measurement and measurement of drawings as required

· Assist with identifying potential risks and evaluate options for control

· On-going cost analysis

· Feasibility studies of clients requests

· Assist with preparation of estimates

· Assist with analysing sub-contractors quotations

· Assist with preparation and agreeing variation accounts

· Prepare and issue certification for contract payments to sub-contractors

· Assist with providing evidence for resolution of disputes
