We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Manager (Mental Health Nurse/General nurse) to join our client, at their 'GOOD' rated Mental Health facility in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs. This role requires a strong commitment to patient wellbeing and the ability to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to each individual's needs.

Duties

* Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions.

* Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

* Provide leadership and guidance to junior nursing staff and support workers.

* Conduct assessments of patients' mental health status and document findings accurately.

* Offer support and education to patients and their families regarding mental health issues and treatment options.

* Manage daily operations within the care setting, ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards.

* Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals involved in patient care.

Skills

* Strong background in mental health care and care practices.

* Proficient in medication administration and understanding of pharmacology related to mental health treatments.

* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.

* Ability to create comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
