Key Responsibilities:
Manufacture, assembly, and build of Land Systems specialist projects using engineering drawings and design data to meet business and customer expectations to BS7671 standards.
Install electrical cabling/wiring into specialized containers.
Perform wire-related tasks including looming, crimping, braiding, soldering, and wire cutting/preparation.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including lean and 5S procedures, ensuring a clean, compliant work area.
Required Experience:
Proficient with AC/DC circuits and single and three-phase supplies.
Skilled in building looms and harnesses with military-type connectors.
Capable of soldering, crimping, and general small-scale, low-gauge wiring.
Experience with intricate panel wiring.
Candidates from automotive, industrial, defence, military, or engineering backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline.
City & Guilds 2365 Level 2/3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Building & Structures) or an equivalent electrical qualification.
