The Opportunity:

We’re working with a leading supplier in the fluid power industry who are looking for a Branch Sales Support / Internal Salesperson to join their busy team based near Horsham St Faith.

This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical engineering background who’s interested in moving into a more technical sales position. You’ll be working internally to begin with, supporting customers and building product knowledge, with the potential to progress into an external/area sales role in the future if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responding to customer enquiries via telephone, email, and face-to-face in branch

* Preparing quotations and processing sales orders

* Supporting day-to-day branch sales activity

* Advising cutomers on products and providing technical support (training provided)

* Managing stock levels and liaising with suppliers

* Building relationships with trade and industrial customers

What We’re Looking For:

* A background in mechanical engineering – this could be through an apprenticeship, qualification, degree, or hands-on experience

* Excellent communication and customer service skills

* Good organisational skills and computer literacy

* A proactive, team-oriented approach

* Any knowledge of fluid power/hydraulics is highly desirable, but not essential
