Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Product Designer to join our well established client. 

Job Duties: 

Work within the development lifecycle, covering design, development and testing ensuring the successful manufacture of functional products.

Actively contributing to the Sales Team providing support and expertise.

Apply technical knowledge to help resolve technical & basic product design conundrums.

Plan and prioritise personal design activities.

Assist in the costing and time elements of production including design time and BOM creation. 

Record, analyse, report, and administer per systems and requirements.

Provide innovation and a desire to expand and develop products according to the market.

Assist in the delivery of training to new designers.

Perform against several measures of performance (KPI’s) and report weekly to the team and senior management on these.

Attend meetings with clients and sales representatives.

Requirements: 

A minimum of 3 years design experience. 

Qualification or equivalent experience in a CAD / Design field.

Ability to use industry-standard 2D / 3D CAD software.

Proficient in SolidWorks/Rhino. 

Strong creative and design skills.

Proven ability to innovate and problem solve in a design environment. 

Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritise accordingly. 

Salary: £28,891 Per Annum. 

Working hours:  Monday to Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm. 

This is a Full time, Permanent position
