Role - Warranty and Service Manager
Location – Nottingham
Hours – Monday to Friday (Days)
Package - £42k per annum + Company Performance Bonus

The Business is one of the World’s best known Manufacturers in Automated Materials Handling and Automated Logistics solutions. Specialising in fully bespoke, fully automated Warehousing and Manufacturing Product Handling Systems, they can produce a wide range of solutions to fit any requirement.
With the World of Manufacturing and Logistics becoming ever more Automated, they are busier than ever and as such are expanding their Engineering function to deal with their growing customer base.
The Role
The Warranty and Service Manager will be responsible for negotiating Warranty plans for new customers, plus dealing with Warranty Claims from existing Customers. The role is 90% office based, with occasional client visits as and when required.
The Service Engineers report to the Engineering Manager, so this role is purely dealing with the initial enquiry from the customer at point of repair, and for Warranty renewals.
When a repair call comes in from the customer the Warranty and Service Manager will need to perform an assessment over the phone to see whether the Breakdown is covered by their Warranty Package. If it is copvered the repair details are passed to the Engineering Manager to send an Engineer. If not, the Warranty and Service Manager will need to produce a Repair Quote for the customer before any Repairs commence.
The Candidate
As this role is dealing with Automated Materials Handling equipment, you will need to have a good grounding in Electrical and Mechanical Automated Systems, as well as a recognised Engineering Qualification.
They are open to what you could have been doing previously. You could have been working as a Service or Maintenance Engineer, or as a Sales Engineer, or even as a Maintenance or Service Manager or Team Leader.
You must have:
* An Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Qualification
* A Good knowledge of Electromechanical Machinery
* Have excellent Communication Skills
* Be Computer Literate and confident of Microsoft Packages
