This is an exciting opportunity for Nurses who enjoys new challenges and would like to continue their career with more flexibility and variety in their role. As part of an already existing team, you shall adapt to University Hospital of Derby NHS Trust standards and ways of working, whilst also applying your own methods of practice to your daily tasks. You will have the opportunity to work days/nights/twilights and hours that suit you as an individual. We can offer block bookings of up to 5-6 shifts per week, the flexibility of 2-3 shifts per week or any shift pattern that suits you. Our experienced and friendly team can accommodate to your chosen working pattern.
Is this the role for you?
You will be responsible for providing an optimal level of care to patients on an ongoing basis. You shall have a high level of communication skills, liaising effectively with your team and the matron in change to ensure a safe environment and consistent high standard of care is always maintained. You will be punctual and reliable, attending your shifts and only booking shifts you are available to work.
To be considered for this role, you will be self-motivated and driven to provide a standard of patient care that is second to none. You'll have excellent time management and organisational skill, along with a confident and approachable personality.
As this role deals directly with patients from a range of backgrounds, you should find it easy to communicate with a wide range of diverse individuals. You should have high levels of patience, empathy, strict confidentiality and be willing to go the extra mile for patients and their families. You will be confident in your role, especially when working under pressure.

To be considered for this role, you must have:
* NMC registration
* A minimum of 6 months' experience within an NHS Hospital.
* Right to work in the UK
* Punctuality and Time-keeping skills
