We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, payroll, and data entry, with proficiency in Sage 50 and Sage 50 Payroll.

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000
Key Responsibilities:
Perform accurate and efficient data entry tasks
Set up new suppliers and handle CIS verifications
Add new employees to Sage 50 Payroll and Sage HR systems
Manage company holidays using Sage HR
Generate and issue client invoices
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
Use Sage 50 for accounting processes
Assist with financial reporting and analysis
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all monthly employees
Handle weekly and monthly supplier payments
Address any payroll-related queries
Reconcile supplier and bank statements
Maintain accurate financial transaction records
Support daily financial operations of the business
Manage purchases and purchase orders
Submit monthly VAT returns
Submit monthly CIS returnsRequirements:
Proficiency in Sage 50 accounting software
Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry skills
In-depth knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes
Experience in running payroll efficiently
Strong communication skills for working with both internal teams and external stakeholders
