Multi Skilled Engineer – Days or Nights

Fosdyke, Lincolnshire - £40,000 - £45,000

We’re working with a family-owned business spanning four generations, dedicated to delivering top quality and value in fresh produce, who are currently recruiting multi skilled engineers.

They manage a vast farming operation and maintain joint ventures in fresh produce. They grow and package fresh, vegetables for wholesale and high-street retailers.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our client’s engineering team at our site in Fosdyke.

As a key member of the team, the Multi Skilled Engineer will provide high-level engineering services and technical support to ensure smooth operations, with a focus on reducing downtime through proactive use of the site’s PM software.

06:00 - 18:00, 223 shift pattern - so every other weekend off.

Key Responsibilities:

* Execute day-to-day maintenance tasks, including line improvements

* Implement solutions in line with the engineering strategy to reduce downtime

* Use root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement in plant performance

* Involvement in engineering projects from inception to delivery as required

* Drive towards a PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) culture

* Assist in setting machines alongside the operations team

Minimum Skills / Experience:

* Time-served apprenticeship

* Electrical qualifications from a recognised body

* Mechanical qualifications from a recognised body

* NVQ Level 3 or BTEC Level 3 or equivalent

* Electrical fault-finding skills

* Experience with Logic Control (desirable)
