An opportunity has arisen for a C & I Engineer to join their successful team in Grimsby and support their continuous growth.
Role Description
As a Control and Instrumentation Engineer you will provide engineering design support to the project manager for contracts for a wide range of clients. The Control and Instrumentation Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify client requirements
* Develop C&I designs
* Prepare, check and Approve C&I design documentation
* Specify equipment
* Plan and carry out engineering activities
* Liaise with other members of the design team
* Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors and relevant authorities
* Attend meetings
* Site surveys
* Assist in preparation of cost estimates and tender packages
* Site commissioning assistance
* Work to client, national and international standards and regulations
* Adhere to company quality and standards
* Carry out work in a safe and effective manner
* Attend training, develop and maintain skills

* Proficiency in control systems design and implementation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* HNC Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field
* 5 years C&I design, engineering or management experience minimum
* Gas and ATEX Experience
* Relevant industry certificationsElectrical experience and knowledge would be beneficial
