£44133 basic inclusive of shift pay
Overtime paid at 1.5 to 2.5 depending on day

FUNDAMENTAL PURPOSE:
To ensure the maintenance, servicing and repair of all equipment to maintain the continuity of the manufacturing
operations and the safety of production personnel. Working a shift pattern.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Maintaining plant, equipment and utilities throughout the site.
• Working as part of a team and working alone.
• Utilising own initiative to solve & rectify problems.
• Closing out routine PPM work as detailed in work orders.
• Recording any completed work orders and returning them to their maintenance planner/scheduler in a timely
manner.
• Carrying out reactive and planned tasks.
• Utilising CMMS (SAP)
• Observing Health & Safety of themselves & colleagues at all times is a must.
• Maintaining high standards of Housekeeping (5S) and ensuring a tidy and safe workplace after work completion.
• Fast and efficient work completion.
• To promote continuous improvement work.
• Responding to breakdown issues from production, offering technical support.
• Maintain current plant processes, i.e. keep up to date with technical advancements.
• Provide guidance and support to shift supervision team.
• Provide one to one cover for holidays and sickness.
• To be the AP (Authorised Person) or safety person for emergencies, including High Voltage for electrical
technicians.
REQUIRES:
• Be Computer Literate, for example Microsoft office & SAP.
• At least five years’ experience in a maintenance environment.
• Qualified to City & Guilds standard within a time served Electrical or Mechanical Apprenticeship
• Be able to carry out basic Electrical and Mechanical duties confidently and effectively.
• Be able to follow engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings and working instructions.
• An appreciation / working knowledge of PLC’s for example Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.
• The ability to communicate effectively and constructively to both peers and management.
• Electric bias must have C&G or equivalent in HVAP or working towards it.
• High Voltage qualification for all electrical bias Technicians
• Self-sufficient and ability to work under minimal direct supervision.
