We have been retained by a key client of ours in the engineering sector to source and secure a Sales Manager to help to grow one of their CNC machining divisions. Our client is looking for a proactive and innovative hands-on Business Development professional to deliver on their strategy for growth.
Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for:
* Developing new engineering accounts across their CNC machining division.
* Identify opportunities for growth and prospecting across current and new market sectors including but limited to; automotive, truck and bus, defence, oil and gas, rail etc.
* Managing the sales cycle from enquiry to completion.
* Liaising with commercial, technical and project stakeholders.
Experienced in technical solutions sales, you will have sold sub-contract machining or machines components into aerospace, automotive, rail or defence sectors, ideally. You will be experienced in project-based sales cycles from concept to completion. Ideally you will have an engineering qualification or will have been a sales engineer in the past or currently. You will be proactive and hungry but will also be realistic with customers and able to manage expectations.
This is a fantastic opportunity with a growing SME manufacturer and will offer a salary of between £50,000 and £70,000 plus package
