We are currently recruiting a Project Engineer to work on RC Frame & Groundwork project based in Bedford. The project will be a mixture of Groundwork and reinforced concrete works. It is a 6-8 Months project.
As the Project Engineer you will be responsible for:
* Management of work to high standards of performance in line with project procedures and applicable standards, through the leadership of “setting to work” briefing with safety and quality focus.
* Management with direction, expectation, and priorities for daily activities.
* Experience of method statements and risk assessments and have a sound knowledge of QA and onsite paperwork.
* Required limited setting out
* Manage Labour onsite
* Early design reviews
* Carrying out of quality assurance
* Producing activity control, inspection, and test plans
* Ensuring a safe working practice
* Manageing material and plant on site.
* Producing daily diary
* SMSTS/SSSTS Qualification
Skills:
* Previously worked as a Project Engineer.
* You have experience in Groundwork and Steel/RC works
* Hold a valid CSCS card
* BSc or BEng level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC/HND or the equivalent.
* Ideal candidate must have rights to live and work in UK
