Zenith People are working with our client who are looking to recruit a Senior Quality Manager on a permanent basis. You will mainly be responsible for overseeing the Quality department within a high volume manufacturing business. This position requires a strategic leader with strong technical expertise and responsibilities are as follows:-

* Develop and implement a robust quality strategy aligned with business objectives

* Lead the continuous improvement of quality processes, systems, and methodologies.

* Establish key quality metrics

* Provide expert guidance on quality best practices across the organisation.

* Development of Quality organisation inline with current expansion projects

* Oversee all quality departments to ensure consistent and high-quality manufacturing standards.

* Develop and optimise quality control processes for manufacturing and supplier quality management.

* Ensure rigorous defect detection, analysis, and corrective action implementation.

* Lead failure analysis, root cause investigations, and problem-solving activities.

* Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory frameworks.

* Ensure full adherence to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other applicable quality standards.

* Act as the primary quality interface with key customers, addressing concerns and driving proactive quality measures

* Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to drive quality improvements and defect prevention.

* Conduct supplier audits and develop corrective action plans for performance improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.

* 10+ years of experience in quality management within High Volume manufacturing

* Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis.

* Proven experience leading quality functions

* Experience in regulatory compliance, including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Traveling: This role involves limited travel

* Up to 10 - 20% when required.
