We are currently recruiting for a, part time teacher, specialising in Science with an option to also deliver Citizenship lessons to work in a small, independent North Yorkshire SEMH provision school.

This is a part time placement, and is to start ASAP until the end of the Academic Year, in the first instance, with a potential to be made permanent.

A successful teacher will be able to deliver GCSE science. Experience working and supporting students who have experienced trauma, and challenging behaviours would also be required for this role.

This is a ’Good’ Ofsted rated Alternative provision, based in North Yorkshire, where Behaviour has been rated as 'Outstanding' "Behaviour is exemplary. Pupils concentrate in lessons."

Requirements:

* Degree Qualified

* Well qualified and experienced working in an environment in relevant subject (Science/Citizenship)

* 2 x references from educational establishments

* A passion for success and quality tutoring

* An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
