We have a role for a draughtsperson / CAD Technician available to work on a permanent basis for our client based in Accrington, BB5.

The company operates on a 4-day working week Monday-Thursday. It is likely there will be overtime available allowing you to increase your earnings.

The company is a leading design and manufacturer of production machinery. Often working on creating bespoke solutions across a variety of sectors.

Key responsibilities for the Draughtsperson / CAD Technician:

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, with some experience of the electrical panel and machine build process,
Computer skills are a necessity,
Competence in AutoCAD Electrical software (or Eplan) is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
In time, produce multi-sheet electrical schematics, layouts, and fascia drawings from engineers' sketches / donor projects using an AutoCAD based drawing package.
Produce terminal, cable and wiring schedules from the drawings.
Must be a team player with sufficient skills to work closely and interact with all levels of colleagues.
In time must be able to work with minimum supervision, managing each project within the set timescales.
