Salary: £45,000 + £5,000 Vehicle Allowance
Location: Sidcup (within 1-hour commute)
Working Pattern: 40 Hours, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) (occasional weekend work)

Brief:
Are you an experienced Health & Safety Advisor looking to join a dynamic team with growth potential? This is a unique opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a trusted utility and electrical construction company, directly reporting to the Head of HSQE and part of a 7-person team.
The ideal candidate will support compliance activities, manage audits, and ensure safe systems of work (SSOW) are effectively implemented on site.
Key Responsibilities:
·Conduct risk assessments, audits, and maintain audit schedules and confirm compliance with legislation, internal processes and industry standards
·Support and maintain compliance with ISO 9001/45001.
·Work on HV switchgear maintenance, installation, and refurb projects (60% maintenance, 40% refurb).
·Ensure CDM regulations are upheld on construction and utility projects.
·Maintain and Review COSHH Assessments
·Provide guidance to staff on site, ensuring safe working conditions and documentation.
·Log all near misses and close out any observations submitted.
·Identify areas for HSQE improvement and develop, implement, monitor and review Corrective Actions designed to facilitate these improvements.
About You:
·Must have: NEBOSH General Certificate (candidates without this will not be considered).
·1-3 years of experience as an H&S Advisor ideally in a power environment in site based role
·Background in construction, utilities, or power industries.
·Knowledge of ISO 9001/45001 standards.
·Clean driving license.
·Proficiency in Office 365 and SharePoint.
