Multi Skilled Plumber

£34,500 per annum

Full Time - 37 hours per week

We have an opportunity for a Multi Skilled Plumber to help support the Responsive Maintenance team maintain general building works on all premises within the Saffron Housing community.

Key responsibilities include:

Carryout all work of a maintenance nature as required; this may include but is not limited to Plumbing, Heating, Tiling and Minor Carpentry

*

Undertake building work in association with improvements, minor works and small new build contracts.

*

Responsible for ensuring all jobs are closed down accordingly when repairs are completed via a mobile devise.

*

Ensuring the safety and security of Saffron’s tenants and properties by participating on the out of hours call out rota, as required.

Our ideal candidate will have:

*

A recognised trade apprenticeship, NVQ level 2 or the equivalent level of skills and experience is required.

*

Experience of working in both occupied and unoccupied properties and on occasions in extreme temperatures and conditions due to seasonal weather conditions as well as relevant experience and knowledge in all types of maintenance work.

*

Able to work as part of a team and also able to work independently without the need for close supervision.

*

Excellent time management skills, including an ability to prioritise workload and meet agreed deadlines.

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, possessing the ability to liaise with various audiences.

*

Ability to use a mobile device (mobile phone/tablet) to manage workload, send and receive emails, access apps to order stock and MS Teams for meetings / training.

*

Ability to participate on the out of hours call out rota.

*

Full, current, valid driving licence.
