Metalis are working with a leading manufacturer based in Worcester who due to expansion are looking for a Toolroom Technician to join the team with lots of opportunity to develop skills and on the job training provided.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Millings, Turning, Grinding, Bench Fitting duties
Stripping / Assembling dies and trimtools
Use of Overhead Crane / FLT
Maintaining Die and Trim tool conditions
Supporting other priorities within the toolroom e.g. machine breakdowns
Working in a disciplined, methodical approach, complying with all Company Procedures
Adhering to strict health and safety proceduresThe ideal candidate will have:

Must come from a manufacturing/engineering background
Previous experience working within a toolroom environment (ideal but not essential)
Use of Overhead Crane / FLT (Ideally - training can be given)
Previous experience Turning, Milling, Grinding or Bench Fitting
A "can do" attitudeShifts & Salary:

£28,000 - £30,000 (dependent on experience)
Days & Afternoons
37.5 hours per week Monday Friday (6am - 2pm) (2pm - 10pm)
16% shift allowance for Afternoon shift
