The Role:

The Klinsmann Partnership is pleased to be in a position to be seeking to appoint a Junior Buyer.

Reporting to the Marketing Director and working closely with our in-house Graphic Design team, you will be responsible for assisting in procurement of marketing material (e.g. marketing collateral for retail stores nationwide and large value items in bulk) and other general services/items to the value of approximately £10-15k per month.

You will have the opportunity to work regularly and build relationships with suppliers/manufacturers all over the world. This will be a fast-paced role and therefore the ability to meet multiple deadlines in order to ensure a lack of supply chain issues internally will be crucial.

This is a brand new role which gives us the opportunity to shape the role around you and your own individual passions and expertise.

Your responsibilities will include activities such as the following:

Analyse current expenses for potential saving opportunities

*

Contact manufacturers globally in search of innovative marketing products which can be customised to the brands under TKPL

*

Retrieve several quotations from different manufacturers

*

Work with the Marketing Director to shortlist manufacturers to work with, based on quality of product and service whilst maintaining a frugal approach

*

Organise and own the end to end supply chain of such products from sampling through to mass production and delivery

*

Create thorough expenditure reports with invoicing data to maintain a water tight approach to expenditure

*

Negotiate pricing with manufacturers in the best interest of the company

We are looking for candidates to have some experience/attributes in the following key areas:

*

Ideally you will be a university graduate

*

Prior experience is by no means essential and we are therefore happy to consider high calibre, motivated fresh graduates

*

That being said, previous experience of dealing with Chinese suppliers/manufacturers in particular would be advantageous

*

Reasonable proficiency (without necessarily being an expert) in Microsoft Excel

*

Comfortable working to strict/tight deadlines

*

Sufficient business acumen to ensure that a balance is struck on a consistent basis between being frugal and providing colleagues/clients with the quality of goods required
