Prodrive Recruitment Ltd are currently seeking Warehouse Operatives to join our clients team in the bustling warehouse environment. The ideal candidates will be responsible for various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring prompt despatch of orders.

Responsibilities

- Handling materials and products within the warehouse

- Utilising warehouse management systems to track inventory and orders

- Following Pick-sheets to allocate correct items required to fulfil orders

- Ensure goods are in good condition

- Performing heavy lifting duties as required

- Managing shipping and receiving processes

- Notifying Procurement of shortages or incorrect stock receipt

- Operating manual pump trucks for moving goods within the warehouse

- Picking, packing, loading, and unloading items efficiently

Skills

- Excellent Numeracy and English skills

- Experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting

- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems

- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and effectively

- Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative

- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures

- Excellent Timekeeping

- Experience operating forklifts for material handling purposes would be advantageous although not necessary

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
