We’re looking for a motivated and strategic Engineering Manager to join a leading name in aerospace engineering. The Role
As Engineering Manager, you’ll take the reins of the Engineering department, leading a talented team of CAD/CAM, manufacturing, and NPI engineers. Your mission? To deliver exceptional engineered systems that meet rigorous industry standards (AS9100 and Sabre4) and support a Zero Defect Manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role with strategic influence, putting you at the heart of product and process improvement and customer collaboration. You’ll also play a key part in senior leadership, helping to shape the company’s engineering vision for the future.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the smooth introduction of new products, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and time expectations
* Act as the primary engineering contact for customers, handling product-specific approvals and liaison
* Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing, focusing on scrap reduction and rework initiatives
* Develop and maintain a technology roadmap for business expansion
* Work closely with Commercial teams to support RFQs and BIDs, optimizing production techniques
* Ensure CNC systems are set up for success, implementing out-of-hours operations (lights-out, robotics)
* Collaborate with facilities management and cross-functional leaders to maximize efficiency and standards
What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (preferably Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field)
* Expertise in design and manufacturing engineering, with strong GD&T skills
* Proven leadership experience in engineering, especially in cost and quality improvements
* Familiarity with CNC systems, including 3/4/5 axis milling, turning, and grinding
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
Nice-to-Haves:
* Knowledge of LEAN processes and Agile methodologies
* Familiarity with Solidworks/SolidCAM, Vericut, and other relevant software
* Experience with ERP systems and quality systems such as ISO9001 and AS9100
* Green/Black Belt certification a plus
