Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Civils Project Manager to join our team for a long-term assignment at a substation project. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing and managing all civil engineering aspects, ensuring that the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong background in civil engineering and infrastructure to work on a complex and critical energy project.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage all civil works related to the substation project, including planning, execution, and completion.

* Coordinate with various teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and smooth project progress.

* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.

* Monitor project timelines, costs, and quality to ensure adherence to project goals and milestones.

* Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.

* Manage risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

* Drive continuous improvement and innovation on site to optimize efficiency and safety.

* Liaise with the client and maintain strong relationships to address any project concerns or requirements.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil engineering, particularly on substation or similar infrastructure projects.

* Strong knowledge of civil construction techniques, standards, and regulations.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

* Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

* Familiarity with health and safety practices in the construction industry.

* Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or Project Management.

* Ability to work on-site full-time
