Job Title: Project Manager
Location:Fradley Park

With over 30 years' experience in construction across the UK, Thorn Baker's interior fit-out business is now looking for a Senior Project Manager to manage multiple interior fit-out projects across the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors. This is a perfect role for enthusiastic individuals who are keen to work as a team, as well as on their own initiative.

Your Responsibilities:

Works as part of a team to achieve common objectives.
Capable of communicating at both Client and Site level.
Can foresee and highlight design & structural design & site issues and offer proposed solutions
Knowledge of departmental roles & responsibilities.
Is persistent & enthusiastic.
Able to work on own initiative.
Write and manage a contract programme in Microsoft Project.
Sourcing and requisitioning of materials
Capable of controlling up to 4 "live" sites - dependent on contract value
Sourcing contractors
Working with Commercial teams and assisting in preparing valuations and final accounts
Liaising with internal departments including Purchasing, Health & Safety and CAD to ensure smooth running of projects.
Required Skills:

At least 5 years proven experience Fitting out of retail, leisure and food sector projects ranging from £100,000 - £3,000,000
Ability to build strong client and contractor relationships, ensuring client expectations are exceeded and contractors are equipped to succeed
Following organizational policies and procedures
Direction of site-based trades
Comprehensive understanding of H&S requirements
Computer literate - Microsoft word, Excel & Project
Positive,proactive and problem-solving attitude, and excellent organisational skills
Cost control experience
Able to work on own initiative and capable of providing solutions to problems.
