Start your IT career with VolkerWessels! We're looking for an enthusiastic Graduate ICT Service Desk Technician to join our ICT team and support over 2,000+ users across more than 100 locations. If you're a recent graduate passionate about IT, troubleshooting, and exceptional customer service, this role could be the perfect fit.
What You'll Be Doing:
Level 1 Support: Deliver telephone-based Level 1 support focusing on achieving first-time fixes wherever possible.
Customer Assistance: Provide on-the-spot assistance to visitors at head office with their IT queries.
ServiceDesk Management: Log and manage all requests in the ServiceDesk system, keeping records up-to-date and tracking daily progress. Take ownership of tickets from start to finish.
Escalation Support: When required, escalate cases with comprehensive documentation to ensure a seamless handover and swift resolution.
Proactive Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer-focused support with a 'can do' attitude, ensuring each user feels valued and supported.About you
Technical Know-How: A strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10 & 11, and Android devices.
Troubleshooting Skills: Diagnosing and resolving hardware and network connectivity issues effectively.
Customer-Focused Attitude: Polite, solutions-driven, and dedicated to delivering a positive user experience.
