M4 Recruitment are hiring experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for refuse collection work with the local council in Bristol on a temp-to-perm basis. Shifts run Monday to Friday, either 06:00–14:18 or 14:00–22:18, with overtime available.

Pay starts at £15.25–£22.88 per hour for the first 12 weeks and increases to £16.67–£25.01 per hour after 12 weeks.

The role involves driving a refuse/recycling vehicle, lifting bins and recycling boxes (up to 25kg), basic vehicle checks, paperwork using mobile IT, and occasionally supporting other waste services.

You’ll need at least 1 year of HGV Class 2 driving experience, knowledge of tacho laws, the ability to work in all weather conditions, and a good level of physical fitness. A positive, can-do attitude is a must.
