Job Title: Band 6 Health Visitor
Location: Wembley 
Salary: £35,392 - £42,618 per annum (Band 6)
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Locum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible working options available)

About the Role:

Are you a dedicated and compassionate nurse looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Health Visitor to join our dynamic team in Wembley. As a Health Visitor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, community-based health services, supporting families to ensure children have the best possible start in life.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver the Healthy Child Programme, providing expert advice, support, and interventions to families with children from birth to five years old.
Conduct assessments of children’s development, parental well-being, and family dynamics.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including GPs, midwives, social workers, and schools.
Provide health education and promotion, focusing on areas such as breastfeeding, immunisations, and mental health.
Support families with safeguarding concerns, ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with NHS and professional standards.
What We’re Looking For:

A Registered Nurse (Child, Adult, or Mental Health) with a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) qualification in Health Visiting.
Current NMC registration.
Experience in community-based healthcare, ideally within a health visiting or similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and professionals.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Commitment to continuing professional development and keeping up-to-date with best practices in health visiting.
